The Woodall Foundation was founded in February of 1999 as a compassionate response for children in need. Martin Woodall, former Vice President of Mark Cuban Companies, wanted to give back to the community where he had lived, worked and experienced a great deal of financial success for over 20 years. Forming a non profit foundation allowed Martin to accomplish this goal while at the same time help those less fortunate.
Martin chooses his beneficiaries carefully and prefers supporting smaller, local organizations dedicated to helping children and their families overcome medical hardships. The true reward of Martin’s efforts comes during his visits to the organizations he supports. There he can personally witness how the Woodall Foundation has changed the lives of those he has reached.
Support from the Woodall Foundation comes in several different ways all aimed at “building a brighter future for kids”. To date the Woodall Foundation via our friends and supporters has donated over $1,400,000 to children’s charities throughout the Dallas area and is committed to the continuance of helping these organizations in the future.
Families coping with HIV/AIDS as well as other serious medical issues find love and warmth at Bryan’s House when they have no place else to turn. Our mission is to respond to the needs of children and their families by providing medically-managed child care, adolescent programming, and community-based, family-centered support services. Bryan’s House is the only special-care facility in Dallas for children and teens affected by HIV/AIDS. We offer a full range of medical, educational, and psychosocial services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The mission of Cancer Support Community North Texas is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action and sustained by community. The mission of the Autism Treatment Center is to assist people living with autism and other related disorders as they learn, play, work and live in the community. The ATC does this by promoting and supporting the personal success of each member with respect, courtesy and dignity.

Using its fleet of specially customized mobile immunization Care Vans, the Caring for Children Foundation’s Care Van Program is able to complement traditional “brick and mortar” clinics by visiting schools, churches, restaurants, recreational parks, shopping centers, public housing, community events, etc. and conduct immunization outreach clinics in the communities where these at-risk families live and work.
In addition to offering free childhood immunizations, the Care Van Program also offers free health screenings at most of its health education community events. Health screenings include blood pressure checks, body fat and strength tests. www.carevan.org
